Bach Project

Italy’s best ballet troupe presents a double bill inspired by Bach. Domus Aurea is a collaboration between visual artist Massimo Uberti and choreographer Diego Tortelli for 17 dancers. Movements are inspired by construction, destruction, the feeling of being born again and rebellion. Domus Aurea is followed by Sarabance: an energetic black and white piece for six dancers to the sound of the Partita in D minor for solo violin. It is a re-creation of one the most astonishing pieces by Jiří Kylián.
